Woodovis Park is a small, safe and peaceful 5 star holiday park near to the ancient Stannary Market town of Tavistock and nestled on the edge of Devon’s Tamar Valley: an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated World Heritage Site. It’s ideally located for exploring the West Country, with endless places to visit and things to do on your holiday. We’re close to Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of the UK’s most dramatic coastlines and beaches.

Woodovis Park is ideally situated near Tavistock, in the heart of the West Country. You’ll find loads to do on-site and within walking distance and when you venture out, you’re spoilt for choice: Dartmoor to the east, Cornwall a short journey west and there’s easy access to the dramatic north and south coastlines with their stunning sandy beaches. You can go easy on the cooking with breakfast baked in the shop …and it’s only a short stroll to a great local pub for dinner.  After all that hard work, you’ll probably want to relax in the free  hot tub… We have camping pitches for all types of tents and all types of camper. Every pitch offers level ground, clean shower/toilet areas and unlimited use of our award-winning leisure facilities. Choose from two fields:

Leave the tent behind…Enjoy all the fun of camping without the packing up! If you love the idea of camping but understandably want to keep dry and cosy and away from those creepy crawlies, then our cute Camping Pods & Super Pods are the answer. They’re the ideal place to build your own warm, snugly nest. Bring all of your normal gear but when you arrive you just move in straightaway! No time lost erecting or packing away a wet tent!

Live under big skies, see the stars, get back to nature. But there’s no need to stray too far from comfort: chocolate croissants for breakfast from our shop and a short stroll up the road to a superb local pub for dinner.

Touring & motorhomes at Woodovis

If you’re bringing your caravan or motorhome to Devon, drop in at Woodovis. We’re centrally located within easy reach of Dartmoor, the North and South Coasts and over the Tamar Valley to Cornwall. Pitches are level, well-equipped and excellent value while the award-winning facilities here are wide-ranging and exceptionally high quality. Wherever you’re travelling, make Woodovis your base for a while. Benefit from 15% off each visit by storing your caravan in our high secure compound.  Enjoy peace of mind and ease of use and leave your caravan with us on an annual or monthly basis.

Our luxury holiday homes are located in three quiet, secluded, wooded areas of the park. They’re fully equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your holiday in comfort – and you’re never far away from our superb facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, infrared spa and friendly camp shop stocked with local produce and freshly baked bread. Beds are all made up for your arrival with crispy white sheets and duvets.

Dogs are welcome in most of our holiday homes (2 max) and we charge £40 per dog per week or short break. We do keep a handful of holiday homes completely pet free for guests who may have allergies.  Cots and highchairs are available free of charge – please ask when making your booking.
